Oh what fun this was.  I don't really enjoy really small crochet or knit projects, but this hedgehog is a great size and I loved it.  It was my first ever felting project and I was real afraid at first.  However, I pushed past my fear, scheduled a knit group felting day and boom hedgie was born!  I plan to do a couple more of these.  I want a Harley Davidson one and another in green/ivory.  Want a fun project try this!  :)
