Double Knitting 08/10/2011

After starting my double knitting I realize it adds more work.... However, it does have its wow factor.  For myself, I surely love the way that you don't have to worry when changing colors... No behind the  back wrapping or worrying that you have pulled it too tight as sometimes changing colors can cause a pucker.  I have chosen to double knit an afghan, which is going to be a task, but I am up for it!  I am still having trouble posting my pics on here, but will still continue to do so!  I have begun a cowl done in Rowan and a wavy scarf.  I had begun a beaded scarf that had you place 2200 beads at first.  I realized not quick enough that this wasn't for me.  However, have now given up on this idea and am searching for something else I can create with the yarns and beads I have strung.  There is a problem when you have to string 2200 beads... NOT FUN!
